Planet
Its plan, inspired by the shape of a butterfly, produces a volume composed of four wings: turret-like elements combined with exterior terraces. This arrangement offers very well-lit, fragmented storeys that communicate easily between themselves. Views of the landscape north of Paris and of Sacré-Cœur on the Montmorency hills, combined with the scale of the volumes, make this a unique workplace.
In addition to working conditions, the Planet project takes account of the quality of living conditions. It is equipped with a meeting centre, shops, a coffee shop and a brasserie, thus giving the ground floor a lively atmosphere. Two restaurants combined with an outdoor vegetable garden and a wellness centre complete the layout of the first floor. The two upper levels can welcome the public to create a rooftop terrace with an exceptional view.
Lastly, the Planet project combines the choice of low-carbon materials with the use of demolition waste salvaged from existing buildings, particularly in the form of the crushed concrete elements used to make the gabions that constitute the façade of the plinth. Furthermore, the double-skin façades provide more effective noise insulation and thermal insulation, and thus greater comfort for users. Brise-soleil ensure solar protection at all times. They are installed in a diagonal net that follows the façades of each wing and hugs their round corners, thus creating a dynamic, softened, contemporary image.
