Saint-James Albany Hotel
Its majestic 43-meter façade, reimagined in harmony with the neighborhood’s architectural style, now houses rooms offering breathtaking views of the Tuileries, one of Paris’s most beautiful gardens. The preserved stone archway, a historic element, becomes the entrance to an elegant restaurant, connecting the street to the interior courtyard.
A transformation structured around three main priorities
• Improve flow and circulation in the ground floor’s public areas to create a more intuitive and pleasant guest experience.
• Redesign the rooms to deliver the comfort and functionality expected of a prestigious establishment, while optimizing circulation for both guests and staff on the upper floors.
• Develop a high-end service offering in line with the standards of a Parisian palace.
The lobby is relocated to the north wing of the Charles X building. Upon arrival, guests are greeted with an open view of the Cour Saint-Honoré and the historic Château building façade, creating a unique, heritage-rich atmosphere from the very first moments. This new layout also restores the archway’s original purpose: providing direct access to the main courtyard and restaurants.
Throughout the year, the bar and lounges open onto the Cour Rivoli, a true green haven where terraces and gardens blend harmoniously, offering hotel guests elegant and lively living spaces. The Cour Saint-Honoré houses the hotel’s restaurant, located on the ground floor of both the Château and Madagascar buildings. Adjacent lounges can also host private receptions and exclusive dinners.
The fully restored vaulted cellars feature a complete wellness area including a pool, spa, fitness room, and treatment cabins—offering a relaxation experience in perfect harmony with the hotel’s standard of excellence.
A retail space on Rue du 29 Juillet creates a refined and vibrant connection between the hotel and the city.
A discreet residential offering
Four high-end residences will be created in the north wing of the Charles X building, with a separate address on Rue du 29 Juillet. Featuring a private entrance, these apartments will offer their occupants access to the hotel’s services while preserving their privacy.
