Born of a new urbanistic vision of La Défense, the Triangle de l’Arche provides an urban district, on a human scale, directly linked to the Arche’s forecourt. Determined by the network of roads that surrounds them, the buildings reprise the lines of the roads.

Within this curved setting, symbolising speed and modernity, an orthogonal system structures the centre of the block, giving this ensemble of offices the necessary flexibility and scalability. An orthogonal system in stone, a curved system in glass: in places, the former pierces the latter, in a meeting of two systems from which the location’s architecture is born.

A synthesis of several schools of thought that have emerged during this century, the Triangle de l’Arche combines the rediscovery of traditional town planning on a human scale, the expression of its construction method and deep thinking concerning the quality of life in a new urban district.
