Aki Kuroda

Born in 1944 in Kyoto.
Lives and works in Paris.
From a family deeply engaged with European artistic culture, particularly Surrealism, Aki Kuroda discovered a passion for art early in life.
He settled permanently in Paris in 1970, becoming a fixture in literary circles (collaborating with Marguerite Yourcenar in the 1970s, co-editing the magazine Noise with Yoyo Maeght and Didier Ottinger from 1985 to 1994, and receiving a carte-blanche from Gallimard Editions in 2017).

Kuroda is internationally recognized today and exhibits his work across Europe and Asia.

He created a mural at the Leonardo da Vinci University Centre in 1994.
